Childbirth Graphics’ mission, our calling, is to impart life-giving education, born from a shared understanding and delivered with loving care. We strive to nurture healthy babies and grow healthy families.
Our History
Childbirth Graphics was founded in 1980 with the goal of creating materials to improve maternity care for all women. Founder Jamie E. Bolane drew upon her combined backgrounds as a childbirth educator, designer, and consumer advocate to establish a company focused on providing growing families with engaging educational resources for each stage of pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, and early parenting.
In 1993, Childbirth Graphics became a division of WRS Group, a family of companies dedicated to innovative 3-D displays, hands-on models, informative print products, and promotional materials aimed at improving lives through health education and awareness. WRS Group was founded in the 1960s by Wayman R. Spence (WRS), M.D., a pioneering anti-smoking advocate. In 2026 Childbirth Graphics became a part of The Education & Outreach Company.
Today, Childbirth Graphics is the leader childbirth educators trust for high-quality, well-researched, up-to-date materials covering a full range of childbearing topics. With our commitment to growing families, and in consultation with our advisory board, we conceptualize, create, and assemble our proprietary products while being steadfastly committed to our mission of nurturing healthy babies and growing healthy families.
